Samples of Proposal Arguments

(A)Course Requirement: Extortion
Two Strengths
1. very in depth, definently present their claim. They're claim is very concise and you definently know right away what is it they are trying to prove.
2. Use a lot of evidence to explain their point of view, they use demographics like prices or even just math equations to explain the different pricing.
Two Weaknesses
1. Maybe to many solutions to the problem.
2. Explains way to many pieces of information to the audience some that don't even correspond to the argument or can be left out.

(B)Why the United States should adopt Nuclear Power
Two Strengths
1. provide a ton of evidence in the main paragraphs that truly make the reader keep reading to find out more facts.
2. explain more in depth than a lot of the articles or other proposal topics, it takes advantage of really appealing to the audience on why this is such a huge issue.
Two Weaknesses
1. They don't clearly state the proposal argument in the first paragraph well enough. It's kind of stated in different ways, they just don't clearly state it.
2. They start off with solutions rather than making that proposal first then stating the solutions at the end possibly confusing the author.

(C)A Proposal to allow off-campus purchases with a meal card
Two Strengths
1. make the subtitles of the proposal argument helping people have more accessibility when following along and seeing their concise point of view.
2. Using a lot of in text citations and evidence to help the reader distinguish the points of view.
Two Weaknesses
1. They have to many solutions or even justifications.
2. Also they lead with to many examples of the solutions which make it really hard to understand their clear cut approach.
