Introduction and Method
Introduction Sleep deprivation is the condition of not having enough sleep, sleep is one of the most important factors in your everyday life. Sleep plays a huge role in your mental and physical health, if you don’t get enough sleep it can be very dangerous. Now as a student at a university I decided to conduct a survey on how sleep deprivation can have a toll on academic success. I chose the topic considering the personal ties I have with the certain issue, also it would help to realize how important the issue is among college students and their academics. In one article called College Students: getting enough sleep is vital to academic success the author makes sure to explain that even the shortest amount of sleep can result in something terrifying, “After two weeks of sleeping six hours or less a night, students feel as bad and preform as poorly as someone who has gone without sleep for 48 hours.” (AASM, Dr. Eps...
Commerical
link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=56b09ZyLaWk I chose a commercial that really pulls on the heart strings considering it's about possibly never coming home again, or missing out on what really brings joy to you. Here the dog is what you maybe miss the most when you make these terrible decisions such as drinking and driving. The author makes sure to at the beginning to explain a sequence of events or the past with the man and his dog to create a deeper meaning to the story. The author then has the man leave with his friends to a car where we can see the presence of alcohol, the man and his friends say goodbye to the dog on the floor. Then it shows the dog patiently waiting in the shadows of day and night for its owner to come back home one last time. The audience here is now moved that the man won't return back to the house because he got into a crash and his life has been taken away. But the author isn't going to leave off like that, they show some words on the scree...
After the quick reading of your paper, I think you did a good job. The flow went very well, and there isn't many logic issues in your paper. The only thing I want to mention is that you used too much "I" and "my" in this paper, you need to replace them into more object sentences.
ReplyDeleteHere are few more suggestions I want to make after my second reading.
First, you had some citation problems in your formatting. Both in-text citation and the references were not accurate. My advice is that you can find Hem's help, or find the direction online to fix the problems.
Second, your introduction seemed have plenty citations, but you still need one more "gap" source to establish another perspective on the topic you have chosen. For the introduction paragraphs, I felt the points you made there were repetitive, please take some time to clear your idea and reorganize your intro paragraph.
Overall, you did a good job and I think it's a good draft. Please working on the revision and hope you can have a much better final draft!
